The arrival of the Gauntlets marks the beginning of a new era of experimentation in Throne and Liberty. With new weapon pairings to explore, countless skill combinations to test, and fresh PvE and PvP strategies waiting to be discovered, adventurers across Solisium are racing to unlock the full potential of the game’s newest weapon.
To celebrate the launch of the Gauntlets, we're inviting adventurers to participate in the Gauntlet Research Lab, a community guide creation event where players can experiment and compete for valuable rewards while helping fellow adventurers master the game's newest weapon. The best guides will earn rewards, recognition, and the prestigious Gauntlet Grandmaster Discord role. We will also be opening a new channel just for those who want to talk Gauntlets in the #gauntlet-research-lab.

Submission Period: June 25 – July 12, 11:59 PM PDT
Community Voting: July 15, 10:00 AM PDT – July 17, 10:00 AM PDT
Your Mission
Create a written or video guide that helps fellow adventurers better understand and master the Gauntlets.
Guides may focus on topics such as:
PvE gameplay
PvP gameplay
Weapon pairings
Skill selections
Weapon mastery progression
Rotations and combos
Advanced mechanics
Build recommendations
Beginner-friendly walkthroughs
Gameplay demonstrations
Whether you’re teaching new players the fundamentals or helping veterans optimize their gameplay, your guide could become a valuable resource for the community.
How To Participate
Step 1 – Create Your Guide
Participants may submit either a video guide or a written guide.
Video Guides
Must be uploaded publicly to YouTube.
Written Guides
Written guides may be submitted using one of the following formats:
Platforms such as Questlog.gg, Maxroll.gg
Public Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
A Discord Forum Post in #gauntlet-written-guides
The version available at the conclusion of the submission period will be considered the final version for judging.
Step 2 – Submit Your Guide
Visit the official Throne and Liberty Discord and submit your guide in the appropriate channel:
#gauntlet-research-lab – General discussion, theorycrafting, and collaboration.
#gauntlet-video-guides – Video guide submissions.
#gauntlet-written-guides – Written guide submissions.
Each submission should include:
Title: The name of your guide.
Link: A direct link to your guide or video.
Description: A brief summary explaining what your guide covers and who it is intended to help.
Player Information: Add character name, player region, and player server.
Step 3 – Finalist Selection
After submissions close, the Community Team will review all eligible entries and select finalists from both the Video Guide and Written Guide categories.
Selections will be based on factors such as:
Helpfulness & Clarity – Don’t just post a build, help old and new adventurers alike understand your decisions and strategies.
Depth of research
Originality
Overall contribution to the community’s understanding of the Gauntlets
Step 4 – Community Voting
Finalists will be featured in a community poll on Discord where players can vote for their favorite guides.
Community voting will determine the final winners.

Rules
All submissions must be your own original work.
Participants may submit one written guide OR one video guide.
Video guides must be publicly viewable on YouTube.
Written guides must be publicly accessible without requiring special permissions, downloads, account creation, or access requests.
Downloadable files, executable files, compressed archives, and other file-sharing formats are not permitted.
Guides must focus on the Gauntlets and their gameplay within Throne and Liberty.
Submissions may not contain inappropriate, hateful, explicit, offensive, or misleading content.
Submissions may not contain harmful links, malicious downloads, or unrelated external promotions.
The Community Team reserves the right to remove submissions that violate the event rules or spirit of the contest.
By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that their content may be featured on official Throne and Liberty channels.
The Gauntlets are new territory for everyone. Whether you’re discovering the next great weapon pairing or helping a fellow adventurer land their first combo, your research could become a valuable resource for players across Solisium.
