Throne and Liberty Update 3.7.0 downtime will begin at 10:30 p.m. PT (5:30 a.m. UTC) on November 5 and last approximately 3 hours. It includes ranked Battlegrounds, the party and guild ping system, and bug fixes. Find the full list of changes below.

Battlegrounds

Ranked mode is now available for Battlegrounds!

  • The ranked pre-season is estimated to last 6 weeks.

  • Initially, ranked mode will only be available 16:30 ~ 19:30 and 22:00 ~ 01:00 local server time daily.

  • Ranked mode can only be queued for as an individual, entering with a pre-formed party is not permitted.

  • Additional items are now available at the Combat Coin Merchant, locked behind a specific ranking requirement.

  • If not enough players are available to start a 24 vs 24 Battlegrounds match, an 18 vs 18 match will be started instead.

  • Once matched with 36 players, 12 additional players will be searched for before the match starts.

  • If the remaining 12 players cannot be found, the match will commence as 18v18 with a new score limit of 80,000.

  • Healing teammates now grants points within Battlegrounds matches.

  • 10 points, times by any active multipliers, will be granted for every 50,000 health healed.

  • Score is only granted for effective healing, over-healing will not grant points.

  • Equipped weapon combinations are now displayed on the Scoreboard.

Party and Guild Ping System

  • A new ping system is available to Parties and Guilds, allowing players to place down a temporary indicator.

    • 4 different ping types are available: Attack, Warning, Move, Support.

  • Pings will be displayed for 5 seconds before disappearing.

  • On Mouse and Keyboard, shortcuts to access this feature will be unbound by default.

  • Key bindings to open the Ping menu can be adjusted in the Shortcuts and Features tabs of the Settings menu.

  • With a Controller, pings can be accessed through a new tab in the Ring Menu.

  • When viewing the Ping menu, a shortcut will be available to switch between Party/Guild pings.

  • For Parties, new settings within the Party Management window are available controlling who can use pings.

  • For Guilds, these settings can be found in the Guild Settings menu.

Lifeskills

  • Minutrite and Gigantrite lamps and bed furniture have been added.

  • This furniture will require new Divine Beast Crystals obtained from either Gigantrite or Minutrite, alongside rare gathered materials, Vitalstones, and Additives.

  • New floating islands can now be found around Solisium, only accessible by riding on Gigantrite or Minutrite.

  • A mix of existing and new gatherable nodes will be available on each island granting all tiers of gathered materials with increased yield and higher chances to receive Rare materials.

  • These islands will also have nodes available which can be collected to acquire Vitalstones and the new Divine Beast Crystals.

  • Divine Beast Crystals obtained directly from Gigantrite and Minutrite will be untradeable, but will have a chance to be tradeable when obtained from the floating islands.

  • This new furniture is Epic tier and will grant significantly higher Housing Power compared to Rare tier furniture.

  • All newly available furniture has a small chance to grant a Great Success when crafted, resulting in a tradeable variant.

  • Gathering now grants full XP regardless of your current gathering level.

  • 3x Common tier materials are now received when the respective Gathering lifeskill is level 15.

  • Gathered materials can now be dissolved to receive a lower-tier material at a 1:1 ratio.

  • The chance of a gatherable leather node dropping from an enemy has been decreased from 40% to 20%, however the quantity of materials received have been roughly doubled.

  • A new processing queue slot is now available upon reaching level 8 in the respective Processing skill.

  • A set of 5x Furniture Tickets can now be purchased from the Furniture Workshop Merchant with Sollant.

  • Added tags indicating the type of furniture displayed displayed at the bottom of the item tooltip.

  • Search bars in the Manage Storage and Arrange Housing menus can now be used to search for furniture tags.

  • Players that own multiple houses can now teleport to each from the Manage My House menu.

  • Interaction sounds have been added to various light fixtures within houses.

  • The quantity of gatherable nodes on Minutrite will now scale with the tier reached during the Healing Touch for Divine Beasts Dynamic Event.

Heroic Items

  • Skill Core Imprint Scrolls can now be purchased from the Raid Goods Exchange Merchant with Sollant.

  • The recipe to craft Skill Core Imprint Scrolls has been removed.

  • Equipment Transferring is now available for Heroic Armor and Accessories of different types (i.e. transferring a Heroic Ring to a Heroic Bracelet, or a Heroic Helmet to a Heroic Cloak).

  • Heroic gear can now be used within the Sync menu, allowing T3 gear and other Heroic items to by synced to it.

Shield Stacking

  • Shields of the same type cast by other players no longer stack including:

    • Wand: Excavator's Mysterious Scepter, Spectral Defense, Invincible Wall

    • Sword and Shield: Blessing of Immortality

    • Orb: Distortion Veil

Sword and Shield

  • The Unshakeable Will and Replenishment mastery achievement effects are now applied when using Concentrated Barrier as well.

Orb

  • Stellar Dash: Damage has been reduced.

  • Damage from the projectile fired has been decreased from 580% of Base Damage +210 to 290% of Base Damage +105.

  • Damage from the projectiles fired from summoned orbs has been decreased from 191% of Base Damage +69 to 96% of Base Damage +35.

  • Damage against monsters is increased by 100%.

  • Summon Satellite: Damage has been reduced.

  • Damage dealt when using Stellar Dash while the Satellite effect is active has been decreased from being equal to damage dealt by Stellar Dash to 145% of Base Damage +53.

  • The Movement Speed Debuff granted by Supernova Collapse has been removed.

Staff

  • Focused Fire Bombs: Damage has been increased from 510% of Base Damage +516 to 595% of Base Damage +602.

  • Ice Spear: Damage has been increased from 430% of Base Damage +77 to 510% of Base Damage +92.

  • Ice Spear Bombardment: Damage has been increased from 86% of Base Damage +15 to 102% of Base Damage +18.

  • Judgement Lightning: Damage has been increased from 780% of Base Damage +356 to 880% of Base Damage +402.

Greatsword

  • DaVinci's Courage: Buffs granted by DaVinci's Courage will no longer stack.

Daggers

  • Phantom Smokescreen: The Improved Smokescreen Specialization will no longer grant its effects while not inside the smokescreen area.

Crossbow

  • Mortal Mark / Detonation Mark: Damage is now capped at 50,000% of Base Damage.

Longbow

  • Steady Aim: The Critical Damage increase buff is now affected by Buff Duration.

General

  • A new Vanguard Notification chat channel has been added, matching how the current Guild Notification chat channel functions.

  • Messages in this channel can only be sent by the Vanguard Lead and Party Leads within the Vanguard.

  • All messages sent in this channel will be displayed as a banner at the top of the screen for each member in the Vanguard.

  • Hyperboost: Field and Arch Boss events on Hyperboost servers will now only include players from other Hyperboost servers.

  • Dimensional Trials: The percentage chance of receiving a Golden Chest has been increased:

    • Tiers 1~5: Percentage chance is equal to the tier number

    • Tiers 6~8: 10% chance

    • Tiers 9 and 10: 13% chance

  • Material Transmutation: Added settings to automatically transmute materials upon reaching a specified level, also allowing selection of a specific equipment type to receive as a result.

  • Arch Boss: Increased the quantity of Ascended Archboss Fragments received from participation rewards.

  • Arch Boss: Combat Power granted by enhanced Arch Boss weapons has been increased.

  • Skill Cores: Crafting recipes have been added allowing T2 Deluzhnoa and Giant Cordy Skill Cores to be upgraded to their T3 variants.

  • Combat Power: Enhanced the tooltip shown when hovering over the Combat Power value in the Character Info menu to display Combat Power sources and the maximum value each can provide.

  • Items: Enemy loot can once again be picked up by walking over it.

  • Cooking: Meals placed in Storage can now be used when turning in Cooking Contracts.

  • Cooking: Recipe items that can only be obtained once can no longer be sold to vendors.

  • Cooking: A system message has been added when attempting to turn in a locked item to complete a contract.

  • Cooking: If you already own a Recovery Crystal recipe, then the respective recipe can no longer be purchased from the Contract Coin Merchant.

  • Cooking: Cooking vendors are now shown in the How to Acquire menu for various items.

  • Path of Ascension: Adjusted Mission 13 in Step 3 to "Kill 20 monsters" instead of "Defeat a Party Matchmaking Boss".

  • Gate of Infinity: Achievement Rewards will no longer be displayed in the ranking rewards popup when a Gate of Infinity dungeon rotation has ended.

  • Dynamic Events: Increased the requirements to reach tier 3 in the Healing Touch for Divine Beasts co-op event.

  • Lithograph Book: Improved the owned and required quantity display of Meals and Fish.

  • Crafting: Favorites will no longer be reset upon leaving a cross-server instance.

  • Amitoi House: The Content Notifications panel on the HUD is now displayed while inside the Amitoi House.

  • Matchmaking: Penalties granted by leaving a Dungeon before defeating the boss are no longer account-wide.

  • Vanguard: Fixed an issue occasionally causing HP indicators shown on the Vanguard HUD to be inaccurate.

  • Controller: Fixed an issue preventing Weapon Skins from being equipped in the Illusion Workshop.

  • Skills: Fixed an issue causing the number of charges a skill has to be incorrect when 2 or more skills that have charges were present on the skill hotbar.

  • Furniture: Fixed an issue making the Hallow's Eve Velvet Curtain difficult to place due to its shape.

  • Furniture: Fixed an issue causing some parts of the Classic Arched Drawers to disappear when viewed at a distance.
