Throne and Liberty update 4.3.0 downtime will begin at 10:30 p.m. PT (5:30 a.m. UTC) on July 15 and last approximately 3 hours.

Update Content

  • A new Battlegrounds mode, "Seal Battle: Frostbite Fortress," has been added, and Battlegrounds Regular Season 2 begins.

  • A new Battlegrounds mode with relic transport and sealing mechanics has been added, and different Battlegrounds will be active depending on the day of the week.

  • Frostbreath Cave has been added to Dimensional Trials, and 4 new Guild Raids have been unlocked.

  • Additional rewards can be earned when playing Co-Op Dungeons and Raids with New/Returning characters.

Seal Battle

  • A new 12 vs 12 matchmade Battlegrounds mode.

  • The objective is to transport relics to the enemy team's altar and seal them.

  • The first team to seal relics 2 times wins.

  • The base match time is 10 minutes; if no winner is determined, a 5-minute overtime period begins.

  • 2 new Disruptors have been added:

    • Air Raid: Appears with a certain probability when a relic is obtained.

    • Blitz: Appears near the center of the Battleground at regular intervals after the round starts.

  • New Achievements for Seal Battle: "Frostbite Fortress" have been added.

New Battlegrounds Season

  • With the addition of the new Battleground "Frostbite Fortress," Regular Season 1 has ended and Regular Season 2 begins.

  • In Season 2, the Battleground mode changes depending on the day of the week.

    • Sunday - Tuesday: Conquest (Giant's City / Floating Elf Garden)

    • Wednesday - Saturday: Seal Battle (Frostbite Fortress)

  • A game rules guide has been added in the Battlegrounds menu so players can review the rules of each mode.

Dimensional Trials

  • Frostbreath Cave has been added to Dimensional Trials.

New Guild Raids

  • Ascended Daigon

  • Ascended Leviathan

  • Ascended Pakilo Naru

  • Ascended Manticus

  • Available upon reaching Guild Level 30.

New/Returning Character Co-Play Rewards

  • Additional rewards are provided when completing Co-Op Dungeons and Raids with New/Returning characters and claiming rewards.

  • Additional rewards can be obtained from the chest that appears after defeating the boss.

New Co-Op Dungeon Achievements

  • Achievements for Temple of Slaughter and Frostbreath Cave have been added.

Balance Changes

  • Skill mechanics have been adjusted to prevent excessive damage accumulation and shield stacking, and Heavy Attack and Bonus Damage values have been adjusted per weapon.

  • A new "Weaken: Shock" effect has been added to the Spear, and Gauntlets' Eclipse of Blood now gains additional Bonus Damage and Damage Reduction per skill level.

  • Skill Core effects from previous Heroic armor and accessories have been incorporated into equipment options.

Greatsword

  • Precision Dash Specialization 5 [Charged Damage Increase]

    • Effect now only applies the damage increase in PvE

  • Death Blow Specialization 2 [Cooldown Reduction]

    • Fixed an issue where the effect would activate even without the Specialization being active.

  • Death Blow Specialization 3 [Damage Increase]

    • Fixed an issue where the damage amplification effect was not applying to some Collision: Knockdown effects.

  • Suppressing Strike

    • Heavy Attack Damage that increases when Stun, Bind, or Collision is applied to a target has been reduced from 28% to 14% at Heroic Level 5.

Sword and Shield

  • Skill Core: Roaring Shackles

    • Effect now applies when using the Weaken: Taunt effect from Provoking Roar or Roar of Rage and has a 3 second reactivation cooldown.

  • Skill Core: Victory Strike

    • 5% damage amplification effect for A Shot at Victory, Annihilation Blade, and Earth Strike has been added.

  • Controlling Rake, Controlling Rake Specialization 1 [Grasping Hook]

    • Fixed an issue where skill use range was abnormally applied at Heroic Level 1 and above.

Daggers

  • Inject Venom

    • The additional use skill of Inject Venom no longer consumes Weaken: Thunderclouds stacks, and Critical Damage no longer increases.

  • Inject Venom Specialization 1 [Lightning Infusion]

    • The additional use skill of Lightning Infusion no longer consumes Weaken: Poison stacks, and Heavy Attack Damage no longer increases.

  • Skill Core: Foretold Agony

    • The Foretold Agony effect has been changed to the following: On landing a melee attack, has a 15% chance to activate Venomous Edge. This damage ignores the target's Defense and Evasion. Upon equipping the Creeping Death or Venomous Swamp core, summons a Poison Cloud that deals damage ignoring the target's Defense and Evasion each time Venomous Edge is activated.

Crossbow

  • Skill Core: Support Fire

    • Fixed an issue where the PvP damage dealt reduction effect of Quick Fire was not applying to targets affected by Weaken effects.

  • Skill Core: Focused Barrage

    • Added a 30% monster damage amplification effect for Merciless Barrage, Annihilation Barrage Shot, and Unrelenting Annihilation.

Longbow

  • Decisive Sniping

    • Updated so that the DoT effect of Decisive Sniping, when enhanced by Limit Break, ignores shields.

  • Decisive Sniping Specialization 5 [Decisive Bombardment]

    • Fixed the damage timing to match the arrow projectile hit timing.

  • Skill Core: Pierce Shot

    • Fixed the DoT effect to ignore shields.

Staff

  • Icebound Tomb Specialization 1 [Icebound Armor]

    • Changed the self-Petrification: Freeze duration to 1 second.

Spear

  • Skill Core: Blue Flash

    • The maximum obtainable number of Shock Charges has been changed to 5.

    • New effects have been added to Thunder Javelin and Chain Lightning Slash.

    • Weaken: Shock

      • When Lightning Javelin and Explosive Lightning Javelin damage lands as a Critical Hit, it applies the Weaken: Shock effect. Weaken: Shock lasts for 6 seconds and stacks up to 5 times. At 5 stacks, deals 340% + 150 damage to the target and is removed.

  • Skill Core: Piercing Thunder

    • Added a 10% damage amplification effect for the Javelin Inferno skill.

  • Skill Core: Night of Thunderstorms

    • Added a 10% damage amplification effect for the Explosive Fury Damage skill.

    • Added a 30% damage amplification effect for Weaken: Electrocution 5-stack detonation.

  • Rising Slash, Rising Slash Specialization 4 [Slaughtering Slash]

    • Changed so that the final hit of Rising Slash and Slaughtering Slash can consume and detonate self-applied Weaken: Shock stacks.

  • Skill Core: Hour of Judgment

    • Decreased the PvP Melee Heavy Attack Chance granted from 300 to 200.

Orb

  • Summon Constellation Specialization 1 [Milky Way]

    • Fixed an issue where the cooldown reduction effect for all skills was abnormally applied when using Specialization 3 [Block Chance Reduction] combined with Crossbow [Selfless Diffusion] effect.

  • Skill Core: Redemptive Star

    • Added a 5% HP recovery amplification effect for Purifying Star.

  • Skill Core: Star of Rest

    • Effect is now provided when using either Healing Star or Purifying Star.

  • Skill Core: Nebula's Pulsation

    • Added a 5% HP recovery amplification effect for Restoring Constellation.

  • Skill Core: Nebula's Echo

    • Added a 5% HP recovery amplification effect for Restoring Constellation.

    • Fixed an issue where the base damage reduction effect was applied when the Nebula Resonance skill effect was re-applied while already active.

Gauntlets

  • Mirror Boutique [Ventius Golden Gauntlets]

    • Fixed an issue where effects and sounds were not playing during Gauntlets and Claw basic attacks.

  • Explosive Flurry

    • Fixed an issue where the effect could be repeatedly applied in certain situations after activating Specialization 3 [Stun].

  • One-Inch Punch

    • Damage is now increased by 80% against monsters at Heroic level 5.

  • Bloodstorm Specialization 4 [Chain Skill]

    • Fixed an issue where the number of targets that could be damaged within range was abnormally applied when using Blood Talon skill.

  • Eclipse of Blood

    • Improved an issue where rapidly pressing the Eclipse of Blood skill button would cause the effect to be immediately removed after activation.

    • Added a 1-second restriction time before Composure can be used.

    • Effect has been adjusted as follows. Values shown are granted at Heroic level 5.

      • While the effect is active, boosts damage by 20.5% and increases the Base Damage of Claw by 100%. Decreases Damage Reduction by 160 and increases Bonus Damage by 160. Block Chance functions as Off-hand Weapon Activation Rate, and Off-hand Weapon Activation Rate becomes invalid. Some skills change. Consumes 8 Stamina per sec, and the effect ends when Stamina reaches 0. Decreases Stamina Cost of defensive skills by 20.

Overall Masteries

  • Bloodlust

    • Effect has been adjusted as follows

      • On attack or taking damage, consumes 12% of Mana to increase Boss Heavy Attack Chance and Boss Critical Hit Chance by 150. Cooldown: 5s

Items

  • The Dark Wing's Power and Dark Wing's Bulwark Skill Cores have been added as options on the respective Heroic equipment, and the Skill Cores have been removed

    • The Skill Cores will be removed from Raid rewards and Item Exchange NPCs.

    • Compensation will be provided for previously held Skill Core items as follows.

      • All held Skill Cores will be compensated with 20 Entropy Shard: Calanthia

      • Already dissolved Skill Cores will receive 17 Entropy Shard: Calanthia retroactively.

      • Destroyed Skill Cores will not receive compensation.

      • Compensation will be delivered via Mail within 48 hours of the update.

  • Chaos Witch's Comet Fists

    • Main weapon and off-hand weapon damage values have been adjusted from 195 ~ 268 to 128 ~ 335

  • Frost Lord's Black Scale Gloves, Frost Lord's Black Scale Boots

    • Hit Chance has been changed to PvP Hit Chance

  • Hex of Ingenuity Greaves

    • Fixed an issue causing the incorrect Max Stamina values to be provided. At Item Level 51, Max Stamina has decreased from 160 to 13.

  • Deckman's Ascended Wand

    • Fixed an issue causing the Corruption Magic Circle effect to not apply correctly.

  • Arctic Roar Sniping Bow

    • Fixed an issue where Rock Arrow stacks would accumulate on targets stunned by the skill effect.

    • Revised the skill description to be more detailed.

  • Frost Comet Longbow, Frozen Inferno Longbow

    • Adjusted the Purifying Cry description to be more clear

Stats

  • Weaken Duration

    • Changed to allow reduction up to a maximum of -60%.

Equipment Trait and Resonance Growth

  • Trait and Resonance growth difficulty has been eased, and gem crafting recipes and Skill Core-based Archboss weapon crafting recipes have been added.

  • Archboss weapons crafted using Skill Cores will not receive Potential options, and existing crafted equipment Potential options will be removed and refunded.

Reduced Fragment Quantities Required for Crafting

  • Changed the number of Unlockstones required for Trait unlocking.

    • Trait Unlockstone: 200 -> 100

    • Heroic Trait Unlockstone: 50 -> 25

    • Materials consumed for unlocking Traits before this release will be refunded via Mail within 48 hours of the update.

Reduced Fragment Quantities Required for Crafting

  • Adjusted the number of fragments required to craft Trait Enchantment Stones and Trait Resonance Stones:

    • Trait Enchantment Stone: 5 -> 3

Trait Supply Increase

  • Supply of Trait Unlockstones, Enchantment Stones, and Resonance Stones has been increased.

  • Trait Unlockstone Fragments have been added to Material Transmutation rewards.

  • Trait Enchantment Stones and Refined Trait Enchantment Stone Chests can now be dropped by Elite enemies in Abyss Dungeons.

Equipment Crafting Recipes

  • The quantity of Refining Catalysts available from the Contract Coin Merchant has been decreased from 100 to 20 weekly.

  • The maximum listable quantity of Refined Trait and Heroic Trait Enchantment Stones has been adjusted to 2.

    • This adjustment aims to ensure smooth circulation and a stable trading environment following the Trait material supply changes.

  • Crafting recipes using Skill Cores as materials have been re-added.

    • When using Skill Cores as materials, the result will NOT receive Potential abilities.

  • Marind Resin Flowers have the same crafting cost as existing Resin Flowers. However, it allows selection from a narrower range of weapon-specific Skill Cores compared to Rubrix Resin Flower. All Skill Cores obtained from this are untradeable.

QoL Adjustments

  • Recommended participant count for instanced Field Events is now displayed.

Field Events

  • Musical note magic circles now appear in Nix and Remnants of Nix.

  • Reduced the stats of "Bayuga" appearing in the event to be equivalent to normal monsters.

Hunting Grounds

Elite Enemies
